Our Benchmark Practices

It’s about being conscious of our carbon footprint all the time. In the different facets of our operations, we aim to empower the environment as much as possible. Revolve uses raw material fabrics made out of Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottles. We also use recycled paper in our packaging, marketing collaterals, hangtags, and more. We employ bike messengers for our courier services. As a company, we also pride ourselves in utilizing YKK’s Natulon line of zippers, hooks, and loop fasteners, a line of products also made from recycled PET Bottles. Moreover, a portion of our revenue is dedicated to community programs.

Reduction of Plastic Waste

In 2021, research shows that globally over 9.2 billion tons of plastic had been produced, while only 9% of these had been recycled. PET bottles are widely used and often end up as waste in landfills or oceans, taking centuries to degrade. By recycling PET bottles, we can significantly reduce the plastic waste burden on our planet.

Conservation of Our Natural Resources

Virgin polyester is made from petroleum. By using recycled plastic, we become less dependent on the use of crude oil. We also conserve water by recycling plastic bottles into fabrics, using up to 90% less water in comparison to the production of polyester.

Reduced Microplastic Pollution

Synthetic fabrics release microplastics, using rPET reduces the demand for virgin plastics, encouraging recycling infrastructure improvements that address the end-of-life phase of garments. Improved and innovative processes in textile production aim to mitigate microplastic shedding.

Environmental Benefits of Scale

As more companies adopt the use of rPET fabric, the demand for recycled plastic rises, leading to better recycling programs and waste management systems worldwide.

CSR in a Bottle: Recycling

PET bottles are recycled and produced into fabrics by breaking down the collected bottles into small plastic chips. These chips are carefully cleaned and processed to remove impurities before being converted into high-quality fibers using environmentally friendly methods. The fibers are then spun into yarn and woven or knitted into fabrics with different colors, textures, and performance characteristics. This process reduces plastic waste, conserves natural resources, and minimizes environmental impact, while creating durable and versatile materials suitable for various applications such as clothing, bags, and other everyday products.

Products and Production Process

Our products range from and a whole line of sports apparel like dri-fit shirts, running singlets, cycling jerseys, hoodies, polo shirts, jackets, etc. and reusable bags, laptop bags, baseball caps, ID lanyards. We use a computer software to develop our production patterns while our production staff are experienced in producing different types of bags and apparel for international brands. Your logo / artwork requirements can be transferred into various outputs such as embroidery, silkscreen printing, direct to garments heat press and the now popular full sublimation printing. Because of the distinct quality of our fabric, we as a company require a 90 day lead time.
