Revolve eco.logical joined a DOST-PTRI focus group on Philippine Halal Textile Science, supporting standards, certification, and initiatives to strengthen halal markets and align research, policy, and industry.

In celebration of Philippine Tropical Fabrics Month, Revolve eco.logical actively participated in the Focus Group Discussion on Philippine Halal Textile Science and Technology convened by the DOST Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI).

The forum brought together key government agencies, halal certification bodies, industry stakeholders, research institutions, and regional partners from the Philippines and Indonesia to advance a shared understanding of halal textiles and modest fashion, establish science-based standards and certification frameworks, and contribute to a strategic roadmap for the growth of the Philippine halal textiles sector.

Revolve eco.logical supports the key action points identified during the FGD, including strengthening access to international halal markets, developing guidelines for halal hubs within economic zones, and further aligning research, policy, and industry through the DOST Halal Science and Technology Program.

We commend DOST-PTRI and all participating institutions for their leadership in advancing a globally competitive, culturally grounded, and sustainable halal textile ecosystem. Revolve remains committed to collaborative partnerships that translate science, policy, and innovation into inclusive and scalable impact.
